Second Set of Hands, LLC is a Rochester based company offering non-medical companion care services. A native Rochesterian, my background includes fifteen years in the finance industry, in administrative roles, beginning at Canandaigua National Bank and on to Cobblestone Capital Advisors. Adding to my experience in customer service positions with the University of Rochester Medical Center, I became part of the ever-growing and ever-changing field of healthcare. Tremendous strides have been made in how we care for individuals, both medically and non-medically. Our population is living longer, more healthfully, due to these advances.  As we age, it is our hope to stay at home independently, as long as possible. Sometimes you just need a little extra help, a second set of hands. I see the many items my own mother appreciates having some assistance with. All too often, helping an elderly parent means spending borrowed time on the weekend taking care of these tasks. If that assistance occurred during the week, the weekends would be a chance to enjoy each other's company doing other things.
